I tried this system for few months. The system trade to take immediate positions if there is change in market which did not meet my style of investing. One day they can be bull, and next day they can be bear.

Last day with Babson ETF. Started out with such potential but went down hill fast. Vendor seems to have lost interest as funds are mostly in cash. Wont get excited about short term results again. Good luck if anyone remains.

Rebuttal, posted on Nov 12, 2010 by system developer:

At this time the system has a long position in an etf that is probable to go up and is patiently waiting for long signals in others.

This system has been a huge disappointment and quite disaster for me. I got lured into the system after that big hype during the summer only to find out the hard way that it doesn't have any investment strategy nor risk management. But I am most disappointed by the vendor's attitude. At the beginning he communicated with the subscribers and tried to create with youtube videos the impression of big all-around-the world trading firm, but ever since September the losses started to mount up and we never heard from him again. What a shame! I second that before you subscribe to any system, it should have at least six months of performance to be able to evaluate it's strategy.

Thankfully, I sold off my positions and bailed out of this system yesterday. Holding a 3x leveraged ETF like TNA for multiple days is dangerous enough. But buying this stock on Monday at the high and then selling it off before a rebound today is just bad strategy. Obviously this system is a perfect example of what others keep saying in the forums... A system should have a track record of six months or more before you consider putting your money into it.

This system looked promising when I subscribed in July, but since then seems to have lost its way. I do not like how profits are taken too quickly as on 09-30-10 in the TNA and EDC trades.

This system is not appropiate for a retirement account because of the large and frequent trading positions you will be kept out of trades until the funds clear. Entire trades can be missed or be in a trade a couple of days late. For auto trading you will be receiving an email every 30 minutes reminding that you are out of sync. The chart shows the results of the picks.

Nice salesman. This is totally random trading system. Buy high and sell low. Bason system is emotional trading at best.

Overpromising and underdelivering system. Very good marketing, poor client support, no sense position sizing and irrational trading. I suscribed to this system to make money and learn something, but it was no possible. I will continue to improve my own system, clearly better than this one.

In response to the previous reviewer, I have no regrets whatsoever that the system is in cash. Implicit in that review is the assumption that we would be on the right side of the market today. Please note that the last two equity trades resulted in losses of over $4300. Stop loss too large IMO. Vendor neglected to tell his subscribers that he changed the system methodology in midstream. Not good. I am waiting to see how system performs after reverting to original format

We always appreciate helpful comments that show actual errors in our trading being sent directly to us and when appropriate, we act upon them.

We are posting this notice because we know that potential subscribers read reviews.
Unfortunately at C2, anyone, including a competitor, can constantly place reviews that generalize, distort or delete from the overall trading results of our systems. It is now our policy going forward to generally not comment or give a rebuttal for any given review.
Our focus is on profitable trading and will let the result of our efforts speak for itself.

We have created a short video that shows how anyone can review systems and be able to better discern the true results of any system.

We think it is unfortunate when subscribers start investing after a strong new high period rather than wait for a pull back.

I agree with the reviewer who said that the initial methodology seems to have been abondoned and that you can sense the that the trader is on tilt. He is chasing every little headfake in the market and getting whipsawed up and down. He needs to just go flat and get his bearings and stop chasing his tail. Patience is an important factor in trading and so is staying flat when you dont have a good read or a good edge. Problem with this system is that it has no patience with positions flipping from long to short and back and every blip in the market and it is always in a position never flat. With that methodology it will be a loser in the long run.

Rebuttal, posted on Sept 23, 2010 by system developer:

Prior to reading this we came to the conclusion that we need to go back to our original strategy and went flat. When we started Babson Etf Timer and the other Babson systems the strategy was to only go into high probability trades rather than being mostly long or short in the indices. Being very selective and not worrying about being in the market works best for us.

Looks to me like all the Babson systems started out trading with some type of Discretionary method. The method seems to have been abandoned lately, and you can feel the anxiety of the trader through the trades. I signed up a month or so ago but have not taken any trades( I always want to get a feel for the trader before going live). I will continue to sit on the sidelines for now and watch. BTW, I think Ron may be a decent trader but he needs to stick to a method and walk away from the screen every once in a while.

I am also out for now... I think the way he marketed this, it should have been perfect! Alas, it is not, I 'hate' people playing with money of others when the trading is not perfect. I hope I am wrong in my assessment but I am out. Alas...

I signed up for this system about two weeks ago. Trading seems nothing short of insane. It leaves me wondering what the H*** are they thinking. Markets moving up, lets go short, markets moving down, lets go long. Can not make up our mind, lets go long, then short, then long, and lose money on every trade along the way. I trying to hang on but it is very frustrating.

It is quite puzzling and infuriating that a system using some software called PrecisionTrader 5.3 can be so imprecise, jumping around and reversing positions left and right.

Sept 22, 2010 from Subscriber

This system has turned out to be a bad joke. I too was put off by the developer's hype and videos that tell you basically nothing but was sucked in by the early performance. It turns out the system is not really diversified as claimed - even though he buys funds in commodities, currencies and stock indices, he keeps flipping them from long to short and back, using the same lousy timing. Being diversified is supposed to be somewhat of a hedge, but in this case it assures that you lose money on all fronts.

Sept 22, 2010 from AutoTrader

The current market whipsaws on any media information, not technicals or fundamentals. So dont expect any of these technical systems to perform consistantly until this shrewish market is behind us,, months at least.

Sept 20, 2010 from AutoTrader

As the previous few posters mentioned, I am not quite sure what indicators are being used here. System has lately been buying overbought and selling oversold. System even incorrectly entered a long order on an inverse ETF last week, causing a $400 loss before it was corrected. Vendor claimed to be "looking into the cause", but have not heard anything since. Keep this one on a short rope.

Sept 20, 2010 from Subscriber

This system makes no sense to me whatsoever. It exited a large position today at small profit, only to try to reenter it 6 hours later after the ETF had climbed by more than $3 a share over the course of the day. More than 3K missed gain by not staying put for a few more hours. Not sure where his indicators are coming from but I cannot say I trust them. I am sitting out until this system figures out where it is going and its equity curve starts heading upwards.

Aug 28, 2010 from Subscriber

This system is diversified (someone commented it is all over the place). Trades have low drawdown. And results are just amazing. Thank you for your work.

Aug 25, 2010 from Subscriber

I made and lost some money with this system. However, right now the system is all over the place. Im pretty sure it will be a good system, but Im out for now.

Rebuttal, posted on Aug 27, 2010 by system developer:

When a system is near the end of a down move it is normal to have some folks leave.

So far through its short history this system has proven its worth in terms of position sizing, market timing and its ability to cut losses. The returns, although based on a small sample size, look extremely promising. I have traded a 100k account over the past 10 days with live money and have achieved identical results to those posted. So far, I am extremely pleased and hope for the run to continue. Excellent work Ron.

Aug 20, 2010 from Subscriber

I am impressed with the position sizing, diversification, management of risk and the timing of the market. If this performance continues for the coming months, I will be extremely satisfied.

Aug 20, 2010 from AutoTrader

So far this system looks very promising. I like the diversity - using a basket of different ETFs, and using 3x leveraged funds while keeping risk down. I was a bit worried about the use of these funds, but the developer seems to keep a close watch to provide intraday signals, which all developers should do when using leveraged funds. I will continue to keep an eye on this day by day, and if the system continues to perform as it has, it will make the developer and its subscribers some good money.
